The Link-Turn-Conveyor type RS30 is a ring-shaped endless chain conveyor that can be used as baggage reclaim race track and also as sorting race track. In order to ensure a better access to the baggage the conveying surface is sloped by 30°.
The systems can be clad with stainless steel or steel plates with a lacquer coating (the colour is chosen by the client).
As a standard the conveying surface consists of black carrying and rim slats out of a rubber compound (on request hardly inflammable).
Due to its high loading capacity of 100 kg/m and the possibility of loading it twice as high it is very popular with our clients especially for being used as sorting conveyor.
Due to the unitized construction principle of the RS30 it is possible to adapt the race track to the requirements of the system's surroundings. The cladding sheets fixed on the welded steel underframes can be exchanged at any time. The very robust frame elements with their screw-adjustable feet can be adapted to possible reliefs of the floor.
The drive unit is a long wearing, silent and maintenance-free drag chain drive.
An electric soft starting device is integrated in the control unit to enable the system to start without jerking.
The conveyor chain is a curve-going conveying chain out of flat steel with a chain pitch of 203 mm. The built-in guide rollers consist of a noise silencing plastic, and the bearings are permanently lubricated and maintenance-free.
Unlike other race track types available on the market the rim slats of the RS30 of SRK also move and are not rigidly fixed to the side frame. A higher abrasion on the rim slats and of course on the baggage of the passengers does not develop.
Accessories like coverings for interiors, bump protections, operation control device etc. can be delivered without any problems.

Due to its curve geometry the Link-Turn-Conveyor type RS30 can only be offered in O-form. Length and width can of course be adapted to the surroundings of the system.
